How much does a shoot cost?
That depends on the type, duration, location and number of pictures. After a short preliminary talk, you receive a binding written quote – without hidden costs.
How do I prepare?
Sleep well, drink enough and don’t try anything new shortly before – such as a new haircut or unfamiliar make-up. We discuss everything else in the preliminary talk.
What should I wear?
Whatever you like and feel comfortable in. Calm, plain clothing without large logos usually works best. Feel free to bring two or three options – we decide together.
How long does a shoot take?
A portrait shoot takes about an hour, business headshots about 15 minutes per person, sport and boudoir more like 1½ to 2 hours. The exact duration is stated in the quote.
Where does the shoot take place?
Outdoors, at your home, in the office, at your club or somewhere that suits you. I work on location in the Zurich area; longer distances are possible by arrangement, with travel costs stated in the quote. If a studio is needed, we rent a suitable space.
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. I guide you, give simple directions and give you time. After the first few minutes it usually gets easier all by itself.
How many pictures do I get?
After the shoot, you see a preselection of the successful pictures and choose your favourites from it. The quote states how many edited pictures are included; you can add more.
How do you edit the pictures?
Naturally: light, colour and contrast, plus small blemishes. I do not change body shapes or facial features. I do not hand over unedited raw files (RAW).
How do I get my pictures?
Via a private link to an online gallery. There you download the finished pictures in high resolution – for screen and print. Please save them right after delivery, ideally in two places; the link only stays active for a limited time.
Can I use the pictures however I like?
Private use – for you, your family, social media and prints – is always included. For business use such as websites, advertising, the media or sponsors, we set out the rights of use in the quote. The copyright stays with ksandar; when you publish a picture, I appreciate the credit “Photo: ksandar”.
How do I pay?
By invoice (Swiss QR bill) with the delivery, payable within 30 days. For larger jobs – such as team shoots or events – we agree on a deposit of 30 % at booking.
What if I have to cancel or the weather does not play along?
You can reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. For later cancellations, I charge a share stated in the quote. If the weather is unsuitable for outdoor pictures, we reschedule free of charge.
How discreet is a boudoir shoot?
Very. I never show boudoir pictures without your explicit written consent – not in the portfolio, not on social media, nowhere. I photograph boudoir only with people aged 18 and over, and a companion is welcome. More on the boudoir page.
Will my pictures appear in the portfolio?
Only if you explicitly agree. You can withdraw your consent at any time; the picture will then be removed.
